Congratulations to Mr. Chris Small, Athletic Director at Alexander High School, for being named the 2017 Region 5 AAAAAA Athletic Director of the Year! The presentation was made on March 28 at the Georgia Athletic Director Conference in Savannah.

"Many of you know that Mr. Small devotes many hours to our athletic programs to ensure support for our coaches and players," said Alexander Principal Nathan Hand. "For several years now, the Alexander High School athletic programs have flourished under his leadership, guidance and sacrifice.  While Chris is certainly deserving of this award, this is a celebration and proud moment for the entire school."
